Leela Art & Crafts was founded in year 2005 by Mr. Goutam Loonker. Initially we started as small firm supplying our products locally. Year by year , we managed ourselves to grow exponentially with time supplying and delivering our collections and new arrivals within all over india and overseas. In early stage , we started with wooden furniture only and with the evolution of time and considering change in customers choice and preferences , we also get into manufacturing of recycle furniture , iron furniture , industrial furniture etc thus transforming the lifestyle of living space and furniture concept

Nature of Business

Leela Art & Crafts is committed to provide "one stop furniture shop" to our customers. We are engaged in manufacturing of wooden , recycle , iron , industrial , upholstered , leather furniture. Our company primary business is exporting the furniture to overseas. We take orders from 1 piece (retail) to 20ft , 40ft , 40ft HQ (bulk). We deal with small retailers , wholesellers , stockists , agents. We also sell our products online with home delivery

Infrastructure

We have our own in-house production unit enabling us to carry out faster and efficient production within given deadlines. We have dedicated team of 20 - 25 skilled workers & supervisors with support machines & machinery tools. We have separate division for manufacturing , finishing / polishing & packaging. Display room / showroom is also maintained to facilitate our customers for product selection



Work Process

We have maintained the best possible work flow process to ease out production and avoid hassle free dispatching of containers

1) Order Communication :- On receiving the bulk orders from clients , we call for meeting of management & supervisors. All items including their quantity , designs , deadlines , dispatching details are thoroughly discussed. Along with it , we prepare a calendar for production planning i.e manufacturing , finishing & packaging etc

2) Procurement & Production :- After thorough discussion on productions , we start procuring wood , iron sheet / pipes & other raw materials to immediately start off the production. Our company regularly maintains the stock of hardwares , hinges , knobs , clutches , catchers , finishing papers , finishing emulsion / paints ( list is not ended ) etc to avoid any delay

3) Production Review :- Once the production is started , our management & production supervisors keenly keep reviewing the production advancement to avoid any kind of delay

4) Polishing / finishing :- Once the raw figure has been standed , then our finishing / polishing team is ready to take charge. Our efficient team can apply any type of finish be its rustic , natural , colonial , urban etc to transform raw product into finished one

5) Packaging :- Our company perform extra effort in packaging to ensure safe delivery. At every edges of furniture , we apply thick corners to avoid breakage. We do following packaging as per customers order

a. Wrapped into bubble sheet and then packed into corrugated paper. Strip is applied

b. Wrapped into bubble sheet and packed then into carton boxes. Strip is applied

6) Dispatching :- After whole consignment is ready , we book the containers for loading at our factory with all the legal documents and invoices

Shipping

I wanted to throw some light upon the shipping charges and its process. Kindly take some time out and have a look at it. Shipping charges are totally based upon C.B.M. Less the C.B.M., more its shipping charges.

To procure goods from India, there are two methods, i.e., L.C.L.(shipped in container having loose items) and F.C.L. (Full Container Load).

In F.C.L., the goods are shipped in two types of container:
1. 20 ft. Container,
2. 40 ft Container

In almost 20 ft. container, almost 30 C.B.M. items can be dispatched, and in the 40 ft. container almost 70 C.B.M. items can be dispatched.
In F.C.L., the whole container will be yours and the items will be delivered safe and sound, and in L.C.L., there can be chances of damage.

Q. How is ordering a container advantageous?
A. Ordering a container load will save you a bundle of money. Our warehouse serves as a central and strategic export source. From the size of 20 to 40 feet's of containers are available for the order. Shipping to UAE, US, Australia, and many other countries is done. Normally the delivery of the container is done within 30 to 45 days (depending on goods) after the confirmation of the order.

Q. Terms for the confirmation of order and payments?
A. For an order to be confirmed as final, the customer needs to make an advance payment of 40-50% of the total cost. And the remaining amount should be paid after getting scan copy of BL & other documents.

Q. Guarantee regarding packaging and shipping?
A. The adequate packing and shipping of the container is guaranteed by JODHPUR HANDICRAFT HOUSE Customer may also apply for the Shipping Insurance.

Q. If customer is not able to take possession of delivered container?
A. Lack in the ability to take possession of delivered container (to the destination) due to any reason shall make him/her responsible for all the shipment and other costs and charges incurred.

Q. Complaints and claims regarding quality of container contents?
A. Only for the total cost more than 5% of the total value of container, complaints about the quality of its content shall be accepted, the document claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of the container. Any discrepancy found in the claim may lead to its rejection. The customer shall be proved with the approved compensation/ credits in the form of In-house credit to insure replacement of damaged goods.

Q. Can the content of my container be chosen by me independently?
A. Yes! You just need to give the list of items you want, we will do our best effort to provide you the same, even if it is not listed in our website but being manufactured in India, simply send the full details of the product.

Q. Can different product lines be mixed onto my single container?
A. Yes! The different product line chosen from our selection of furniture, accessories or reproductions etc can be included in a single container.

Q. Up to what location the container are shipped?
A. Simply send us your complete address, and we will quote the shipping price to you.

Q. Is there any chance for the availability of pre-loaded containers?
A. Depends on different occasions, the preloaded containers may be available. Please Email us for the query of availability.

Q. What are the areas of shipment covered by Leela Art & Crafts?

Q. How long will it take to get my container?
A. Most of the containers are shipped within 6 to 8 weeks after we have received a confirmation order.

Q. What is the process of packaging a container?
A. keeping in mind, the full safety of the product, the process of packaging is accomplished in three steps:
     Firstly, the product corners are en-safe with water resistant foam, followed by a single-sided corrugated cardboard           to  absorb shocks and jerks during the shipment. And finally, the whole is wrapped in a bubble sheet for better 
     Protection.

Q. When should the payment of the container be done?
A. For the confirmation of container order, a deposit of 40 to 50% is required. After this, the goods will be ready to stuff from the Jodhpur dry port. Original bill will be given to you after the rest amount of the bill has been paid.

Q. What should be done in case of arrival of a damaged container?
A. Depending on the situation, the damage case will be handled accordingly. However, any kind of manufacturing defect or damage due to deficient packaging will be covered by
